Hello Thursday and Hello Breathtakingly Beautiful! I am so over-the-moon that Hoffland Studios shared Alyssa and Carson beautiful rustic affair. Every image is a work of art! A chance meeting at a college game night brought these two together. It wasn't long before a smitten Carson was down on one knee at a park in College Station.
The two celebrated their engagement by attending Midnight Yell (as good Aggies do!) and having a steak dinner with their parents.
Alyssa and Carson were married at the First Presbyterian Church Tomball and celebrated at La Tranquila Ranch on August 11, 2012. Keep reading for our interview with Alyssa about her wedding day.

What three moments stand out to you the most from the wedding day?
One: Reading the letter Carson wrote me right before I walked down the aisle. It was so sweet and made me realize even more that I am so blessed to marry this man. Two: Seeing Carson’s face light up as I walked down the aisle. Three: Walking into the reception and seeing the venue for the first time all set-up and seeing all our friends and family smiling at us.
Can you tell me about your wedding decor? Why did you choose your colors and theme?
I absolutely love coral and wanted chocolate brown to go with that for a more rustic look. Threw some tangerine in there and called it a day! I loved the dark brown tablecloths and how the coral and tangerine flowers popped off the dark tablecloths. I also wanted a few unique things: I had a decorated birdcage for guests to put cards in on the gift table, chalkboard table numbers, bride and groom wooden chair backs, place cards were set in pinecones, etc.
What is a fun fact about your wedding?
I have a fun fact: The entire bridal party had a dance party moments before the actual wedding. I love my friends!
What advice do you have for brides planning their wedding right now?
Let people help you! I tried to do a lot of stuff on my own because I didn’t want to bother people. Your friends and family want to help you. It’s not worth the stress! Also, if you can take the week off of work before the wedding, it makes life so much easier.
