Goodness gracious! I am completely smitten over this wedding by Kimberly Chau Photography. From the photographer: When Kelly and Matt first met, they were in middle school. Kelly was that hot girl down the street, and Matt was just a neighbor. Matt whistled at Kelly one evening, hoping to get her attention. But Kelly thought, “Not interested!”, and ignored him. However, as the years went by, Kelly saw something different and interesting in Matt. They begin to hang out more together and with the same friends. Soon, this just-a-neighbor of Kelly’s eventually became her cute boyfriend, and now, her loving fiancé! Photographer: Reception Venue: This edgy engagement is from Christine Gosch Photography. This adventuresome couple, Kayla and Hunter, toured Haak winery and an old caboose to get the perfect shots. My favorite are the photos from the wine cellar! What is yours? Gardenias are a beautiful creamy white flower that is known for its luxurious scent. Gardenias are gorgeous flowers to float in a bowl with candles or alone in a bouquet. The flowers range in color from a bright white to an ivory. Lara Zolton of LZ Floral Design loves making wedding days beautiful with flowers. She creates her amazing designs in her studio located in Old Town Spring. Visit her website or follow her on Facebook for even more loveliness! This little ray of wedding sunshine came to my inbox from the lovely Kate Wenzel Photography. I love the fresh feel of this wedding, from the gorgeous yellow color palette to the clean Gerber daisy bouquets. I love what the photographer had to say about this day: "Serene. Beautiful. Natural. Katie and Cody’s wedding was this and much more. It was one of the most gorgeous settings I have ever seen a wedding take place. The breeze was soft and the sky a vibrant blue. The luxurious gardens that surround the Berwood Hill Inn in Lanesboro, Minnesota were stunning and created the ideal backdrop for an elegant country wedding. The reception venue on the grounds was beautifully rustic and added to the atmosphere of the day in every way. And yet, Katie and Cody’s sweet love for one another made the gardens that much more romantic, the summer colors that much more bold and the rustic charm that much more charming." --Kate Wenzel, Kate Wenzel Photography Here is an adorable western themed wedding sent to us from Photos by Keisha. It is one of the most adorable outdoor wedding set ups I have ever seen. I love it when a bride does not worry about what a "typical" wedding should be and creates a day with her own signature touches. This lovely bride broke all the traditional wedding sterotypes with absolute style and grace! Down to the doughnut hole wedding cake, these two made sure their off beat wedding day was fun and represented who they were!
I love the simplistic beauty of this white, wheat, and champagne wedding by Country Charm Photography. Isn't it funny how simple things, such as wheat, can suddenly become beautiful when styled correctly.
Congratulations Missy and Josh! Thank you for sharing your day! Happy Monday Morning! The weather has been beautiful lately which has made my heart so happy, just like this really fun confetti engagement shoot by Kelly Rucker Photography. Photographer: Reception Venue: Floral bridesmaid dresses by Lily Whitepad One of my favorite trends is the floral print bridesmaid dress. I love how a great pattern can give the dresses a vintage flair or provide an amazing color palette from which to draw your wedding inspiration. Flowers Styling a floral print wedding dress can be a little tricky though. Since the dress is generally busy, you should choose bouquets that are more simple. Choose bouquets that are made up of a single one color flower or many flowers in a single color. I love the simple baby's breath bouquets with a great floral print. You do not want your bouquets and your dresses to compete for center stage. They should complement each other. Photo by Christa Elyce Jewelry You can put almost any kind of jewelry with a flora print bridesmaid dress, but you should follow the same guidelines as in choosing your bouquet. Let the dress shine and choose simple but interesting jewelry. Shoes The type of shoes you put with the dress can completely change the look and feel of the dress. Have your bridesmaids wear a pair of peep toe heels for vintage glam or your brides can pull on their cowboy boots for a rustic chic wedding.
Hair Your bridesmaids should wear their hair in ultra feminine and flirty styles to match the feminine style of the dress. Think loose curls or braids. What do you think? Would you use floral bridesmaid dresses? Tell me in comment section below!
