Tis the season to be lovely and my heart is definitely merry to share another gorgeous JW Baugh wedding with you! On November 10, Charmaine Fitzgerald and Chris Rose began happily ever after! Charmaine planned the whole wedding herself and shared her thoughts on the day with WB.
Here is a little glimpse into their love story from Charmaine herself:
"We met at work. I was the bartender and he was the bouncer. I'd noticed him before but waited for him to talk first. One night he came up to the bar with his friends and I just passed him a simple note with a smiley face and and that was the best move I could have ever made! A few weeks after the simple note was passed at the same bar I got a phone call from my dad that my little brother was in an motorcycle accident. I told Chris, and he was at my car before I was and we headed together into the night of the unknown. That night changed my ad my family's life ever because that night my little brother became my guardian angel. From that night to the funeral and through all the ups and downs he never left my side and that's when I realized he was the real deal and I was going to marry him."

How did Chris propose?
Chris proposed to me after a very long week of work. I am very hard headed and that night I was nothing but that. I was traveling for work and just got to the house. Chris wanted to go eat and to the woodlands waterfalls. He asked if I wanted to dress up an unfortunely I stated something like "if you want to go I am going like this" and I was in jeans and flip flops with my hair up and a jacket. He was in crocs and worn out jeans! We went for a walk and then he wanted me to sit... Well he ended up having to pull me to sit on the bench as he was getting down on one knee! It was so exciting! He asked and of course I said YES! Then we had a runner pass us and gave us a thumbs up.
I wanted a country chic and fall wedding; which meant burlap and lace everywhere! The colors were an easy pick. The emerald green is the May gemstone and May is the month of my mom and dad’s birthday. The Ruby/Wine is the July gem stone and the birth month of my little brother and Chris’ granny. Both whom we lost within the first 2 months of us dating. The favorite part of the whole wedding was sharing it with my family and obviously marrying my best friend.
My mom , Chris and I went on a search. One was horrible, one was too 'pretty' and La Tranquila Ranch was PERFECT. It had the elegant touches but still had a western feel. Chris and I couldn't have found a more perfect venue.
Was there a wedding vendor that you just loved and would highly recommend? Who and why?
My florist! They made all my visions a reality and my flowers (from the aisle to the alter to the centerpieces) were the most gorgeous flowers I ever saw!!! They even were able to add lockets in my bouquet of my brother, Chris' granny and his Aunt that were watching from heaven.
